Hailong Construction Technology Co., Ltd (Hailong) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the China State Construction International Ltd., which specialise in precast elements business. Hailong was established in 1993 in Shenzhen and Successfully entered Hong Kong's market of precast elements since 1998, it has been recognised as a qualified supplier by Hong Kong Housing Department, Highways Department, Drainage Services Department, ASD, etc. In 2012, based on successful experience of Hong Kong projects, Hailong has become a qualified supplier in the market of Mainland China. At the same year Hailong has also been recognised as “國家高新技術企業” and “深圳市住宅產業化示範基地”. In 2013, Hailong is committed to make positive contribution to the development of building industrialisation in China and was recognised as “國家住宅產業化基地”.

A rigid steel plate with oval shape holes in Column is designed as a connection plate, which can facilitate lifting process and long screw rod installation, address right position, and increase structural strength between upper and lower modules during vertical construction.

Upon pre-completion of finishes, fixtures and fittings of each module are manufactured in factory, the finishing works and building services installation works on site are minimised.

Each Multi-welfare Services Room comprised 6 nos. of module and in-situ concrete structure, each combined  with shear wall and formed an integrated structure; The finishes, fixtures and fittings are manufactured and completed in factory beforehand, hence a better quality control and a shortened construction period.

Adopting MiC to Build Light Public Housing (LPH) to Expedite Housing Supply

The Policy Address 2022 announced the construction of LPH. The LPH Scheme is led by the Architectural Services Department with the adoption of MiC. The Housing Bureau has selected eight sites in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Ma On Shan, Kai Tak, Ngau Tau Kok and Chai Wai, providing around 30,000 LPH units. The construction period takes only one to two years. Each units equipped with self-contained toilet and basic facilities such as water heater and air-con. The first batch of around 2,100 units will be completed in 2024-25 and the remaining units will be completed by phases in 2025-26 and 2026-27, so as to shorten the waiting time of public housing.
