China Construction Science and Industry Corp. Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, which ranks 9th among the world's top 500 companies. It is a national high-tech enterprise and an economic enterprise headquartered in Shenzhen.

 

The company has been ranked first in the steel structure industry for ten consecutive years, and can provide customers with investment, research, design, construction, operation of the whole industrial chain solutions. Since the state promoted the development of prefabricated buildings, the company has formed two prefabricated Building systems, GS-building (steel structure + three-plate system) and ME-House (3D modular ecological Building system), after years of exploration and practice, and has undertaken more than 200 prefabricated Building projects. We invested and built a modular production line in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, and launched a series of modular products with various modes such as investment-driven, general contracting and box supply, which are applied to hotels, schools, residences, offices, barracks, medical buildings and other scenes in the construction field. In the field of new facilities, it is applied to data centers, energy storage centers, changing power stations, offshore facilities and other scenarios. It has built the "Five advantages" of "model, system, standard, product and production line".

The company has a complete modular ecological building system, which can produce four series of modular products, namely: permanent building series, non-permanent building series, new facilities series and mini cabin series. And for most of the projects can realize factory manufacturing, prefabrication rate can reach more than 95%, on-site can all use dry fast assembly technology, assembly rate can reach 100%. The reason for this high-efficiency production is that the company has the first "special box" company's modular production line in China, which has five characteristics: Productization (mod-in, hand-used finished product delivery state), automation (overall efficiency increased by 50%), flexibility (covering more than 85% of the mainstream market product specifications and sizes), wisdom (intelligent generative design and visual correction) and green (emission reduction).

Adopting MiC to Build Light Public Housing (LPH) to Expedite Housing Supply

The Policy Address 2022 announced the construction of LPH. The LPH Scheme is led by the Architectural Services Department with the adoption of MiC. The Housing Bureau has selected eight sites in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Ma On Shan, Kai Tak, Ngau Tau Kok and Chai Wai, providing around 30,000 LPH units. The construction period takes only one to two years. Each units equipped with self-contained toilet and basic facilities such as water heater and air-con. The first batch of around 2,100 units will be completed in 2024-25 and the remaining units will be completed by phases in 2025-26 and 2026-27, so as to shorten the waiting time of public housing.
