Other Project Features: 

The Ying Wa Street Modular Housing project is a low rise development. With it setting regarding to its surrounding environmental, creating a quiet and cozy neighborhood for the transitional housing.

 

The building is divided into 2 blocks, due to its site constraint on the drainage reserve area, yet this provide an opportunities to create it unique character on its setting out, orientation and relationship with the neighbor. A landscaped inter-generation playground space such as urban farming, exercise play hub, etc will encourage social interaction among the residents and neighborhood.

 

They also provide common facilities, such as the recreation room, podium terraces at 2/F, and the outdoor plazas and backyards, for the enjoyment of the residents.

Other Project Features: 

The Yau Ma Hom site is located adjacent to a heavy-trafficked Cheung Wing Road. A buffer area is create between the road and the residential area to mitigate the noise and air impact. 

 

Despite it unfavorable ground condition, our team have put our effort to ensure its cost effective design with ease of construction. Our design has minimize the needs on ELS with innovation design on its foundation design. With challenges turned into design opportunities, an ample mount of open space have been provided for recreational purposes. It is not only beneficial to the community’s well-being, but also allowing space for on-site construction work. In addition, linear site with lush green slope at the back have orientated the building such that window opening facing the natural greenery is maximized.

Commissioned by MiC vendor to prepare submission package of concrete MiC system for Buildings Department in-principle acceptance for a high rise residential building. Through this purpose, the company closely collaborated with out structural engineer on the structural design with the MiC modularisation, relationship with in-situ cores, and efficiency optimisation.

Adopting MiC to Build Light Public Housing (LPH) to Expedite Housing Supply

The Policy Address 2022 announced the construction of LPH. The LPH Scheme is led by the Architectural Services Department with the adoption of MiC. The Housing Bureau has selected eight sites in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Ma On Shan, Kai Tak, Ngau Tau Kok and Chai Wai, providing around 30,000 LPH units. The construction period takes only one to two years. Each units equipped with self-contained toilet and basic facilities such as water heater and air-con. The first batch of around 2,100 units will be completed in 2024-25 and the remaining units will be completed by phases in 2025-26 and 2026-27, so as to shorten the waiting time of public housing.
